At least this time we only needed to drive 7 minutes home and not 8 hours to my parents house.
But that 7 minute drive took us 2 hours...
And when we got to the beginning of our street we couldn't get up it so we parked at the Taco Bell at the corner...
And walked up the hill...in a snowstorm....with groceries and our briefcases...
Halfway up we started to laugh hysterically at the irony of our lives...

ReplyDeleteOne of my father-in-law's coworkers had to stay at a hotel here because he couldn't get up the hill to his house!! I'm glad we were safe at home when the snow started coming!
