Birthday Brownies!

One thing I'm always doing is looking for the "best of" recipes. On the brownie front, I've always made Barefoot Contessa's (Ina Garten) "Outrageous Brownies". They truly get the best compliments. And I've never searched for another brownie recipe since I've checked that off the list.

Luckily my best friend Varinia (and next door neighbor) LOVES these brownies. She has even offered to pay me to make her an entire pan (recipe makes a sheet pan of them) to herself.

Since today is her birthday I split the recipe between two pans so my husband could have a pan too.

I'm all about keeping the peace...

  1. I love you for doing these for me every year!! They seriously are the most amazing brownies EVER and one of the highlights of my year! Go great with cold milk and a nice glass of red wine. Who can beat that versatility??
